Construction Post 2

On 2nd February 2016, we filmed shots 1-8 and 13 successfully, and we also recorded sound using the sound recorder. We have now started the editing process, of them shots we have filmed so far. Later, on 9th February 2016 we filmed at Sutton Common railway where we got shots 9, 14, 16, 21, 22, 23 and 24 as well as some unplanned, extra establishing shots if we need some extra shots in the future. We have decided we need to go back to the station to film shots 15 and 10 as we will need the fig rig to ensure it is steady as when we tried to do these handheld they were too shaky. We will also need to film shots 12, 17, 18, 19, and 20 in the detective room and we plan to film all these shots on Friday 26th February 2016.

Updated Animatic

We have responded to audience feedback as we updated our animatic to make the improvements. For example, we sorted out the titles to make sure they fit the screen better and also changed the image size of the ident so all the video fits to the screen. We also changed how loud the train sounds were to make them more noticeable and added a transition where a graphic match was used to show the effect.

Locations For Our Opening Sequence

Construction Post 1

We have decided to change the main female character to a male due to the fact Sarah Broadbent, who was going to play Jennifer Beckett, isn't available to fit in with our shooting schedule. Therefore we changed it to a male, called James Beckett and is now going to be played by me, Sam Witheridge as it fits with our shooting schedule. As well as not fitting with the shooting schedule, the film would have looked more conventional with a male protagonist trying to find his sister than the other way around.
